RUS 101 Shut Down

Today is our RUS 101 studio shutdown. It was the last activity in first semester. By looking backward, all of us were rushing for the assignment and busy with activity. Now the first semester is going to end. Anyway, there are a lot of wonderful memories among all of us and the studio master and we have been done a lot of heavy project which haven't done before.

Tonight, the activity is held at dome site and we have made a stage inside a dome for this activity.

We are waiting the activity began.
There are a lot of photographer were taking the photo since it was the last activity.

Tuan Syed Mohd Bakar Syed Mohd Salim was coming.

We are waiting for the dinner and there was the BBQ.

After having the dinner, we were taking the picture around the dome site. These are the bamboo structure.

We were enjoying ourself.

After the dinner, we had to start our 30seconds animation pptx . I have prepared about 1 minutes presentation with my ten words that is "people made things fantastic, Bamboo made things sustaonable".

Finally, I was gone back at 12 o'clock.

RUS 101 CONFERENCE & XZBIT

Today is RUS 101 conference and all of us had to present our product in this semester. First of all, Dr. Wan was giving his speech n front of the class.

Then, Dr. Wan was invited Tuan Syed Mohd Bakar syed Mohd Salim to giving his speech.

Five of the students were presenting a poem in front of the class.

After that, we had followed the studio master to studio 100 for the conference.

This was the front door of the conference.

These are the poster that we had been made according to major.

This is my trigensity.

The bamboo structure and bamboo sound tools.

This is my dymaxion which is full filled with wonderful memory.

This is the dome which is made by bamboo sticks.

This is the 6-bamboo black box which we had been made for the Merdeka Countdown.

These are 101 mask.

This is the dome which had been made using the real bamboo. It was a heavy project that I haven't done before enter the HBP.

After this, we were having the tea time at dome site and then went to E48B again for the presentation.

Project 7C: Trigensity

Trigensity

Unfortunately, we had a class in the afternoon and Dr. Wan had issue us an project again that is making a trigensity using any materials that we want. This was not a easier or difficult project.

After the class, I started to find the information in the internet.Then, I started to find the bamboo around HBP. Finally, I had found three thin bamboo trunks.

Below are the materials that I had used to make the trigensity.Firstly, I use the wire to stabilize the model because the rope was too soft and cannot withstand the weight of the bamboo.

After that, I tie the model with the rope again and the model was fixed.
Finally, I had finished my model.

Project 7B: Scaffold & Gangplank

This afternoon, the new bamboo will arrived dome site and we were going to set up our scaffold and gangplank. After the economy class, we came over the dome site and started our work.

All students are standby at the dome site.

We were started to make the scaffold and gangplank.

Ar. Mohd Najib was teaching us how to fix the scaffold.

Then, we started to make by ourself.

It was very pain because it needs more energy to pull the rope.

Tay was continuing with the other side.

Still in the process.

We have re-do again.

After this, we had to re-do our trunk.

Finally, we went back to hostel around 1730.

Today, Dr. Rusli Jamaluddin had issued us a project again. I think this is the most interesting project compared to the other. This is because we had to make a globe and then choose the picture of the five projects and paste on top of it. Due to a lot of picture, we can paste by overlapping it. In my opinion, that is a good product because by looking at that picture, we can memorized what we had been done in this first semester in the HBP School.

By doing this project, we were giving two sheet of paper with white and grey colour. We were told that have be more careful while cutting this paper because it was very expensive and each of the student only provided with two sheets. .Due to the paper is not enough big so we had to combine the two sheet of paper while drawing. On that time, I’m just recognized that why lecturer had provide all of us with two sheet of paper.Besides, we also had to Photostat the scale of the globe that Dr. Rusli had been drawing and it was very expensive.

After get the photocopy, I start doing my globe. I was placing the Photostat paper on top of the two sheet paper that had been given and start drawing the scale of the globe. Due to the paper very big so I had to draw it on the floor.

In the process of drawing.

After finish the drawing, I start to cut the shape out and combine it with the cellotape...

Then, I start to fold the paper that had been cut out.

It was a globe.

After that, I had chosen the picture of the five projects and edit it with computer and printing out. I had print out 18 piece of paper and it was consume roughly about

RM 25.OO.

After that, I started to cut the picture into triangle shape.

These are the picture that I had been cut.

Then, I paste the picture on top of the globe.

Finally, I had finished it.

This is the final product after colouring.
